SUMMARY:Lord's Supper
DESCRIPTION:We believe there are two ordinances of the local church: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Scriptural baptism is total immersion in water\, in the name of the Father\, of the Son\, and of the Holy Spirit\, administered by the authority of a New Testament Church and is prerequisite to church membership and participation in the Lord’s Supper. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial ordinance of the local church members. The members of this local church\, by the sacred use of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine (grape juice)\, are to commemorate together the dying love of Christ. This is a local church ordinance. Non-church members do not participate.
